Abstract

Entrepreneurship education is currently done in college, with the intention to form youth entrepreneur and succesful independent life; many factors thought to influence the formation of entrepreneurship intention to young people who have got entrepreneurship education. The research aims to test the research model that describes the relationship between psychological characteristics constructs, subjective norm constructs, attitudes to entrepreneurship constructs, and entrepreneurship intention constructs among the students who have got knowledge about entrepreneurship. Using survey by questionnaires distributing to more than one hundred and seventy students, research results showed that there are positive and significant relationship between Psychological Characteristics with Entrepreneurship Attitudes construct, and Entrepreneurship Attitudes constructs with Entrepreneurship Intention construct. There is another interesting research finding that there is no relationship between Subjective Norms cosntruct with any of Psychological Characteristics construct, Entrepreneurship Attitude construct, and Entrepreneurship Intention construct. This is presumably because the majority of respondents plan to work after graduation and after a while they just think of the possibilities for entrepreneurship activities.

Abstract

The objective of this research was to test the impact of system financial and nonfinancial compensation, competency on the employee performance and on the motivation as intervening variable. The research used partial least square method for the hypotesis testing and produced 100 respondent for the sample by using nonprobability samples with the convinience method. The result of the research revealed that the system of financial and nonfinancial compensation have significance impacts on employee performance and motivation but the competency does not  significance impacts on employee performance and motivation. However, further result revealed that motivation have significance impacts on employee performance.In order to improve the employee performance, the training is a needed and should be conducted in accordance with the job position. Moreover, the fair compensation with the range not far from the employee expectation.

Abstract

This study aimed to compare the three models SCAPM, namely SCAPM without risk free, SCAPM inflation and SCAPM zakat to know which model is more optimal use. The method used is the analysis of explanatory power and linear regression. The data used is secondary data, the inflation data, zakat, sharia shares incorporated in Jakarta Islamic Index (JII) from 2011 to 2015.The results are based on the analysis of explanatory power, SCAPM inflation is more optimal than SCAPM zakat and SCAPM without risk free. The results are supported by the results of the analysis graph illustrating SCAPM inflation has a higher volatility than other SCAPM, it indicates that the more profitable inflation SCAPM models are accompanied by greater risks, in accordance with the principles of the classical high risk high return.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of compensation and organizational culture on turnover intention. The object of this study are employees of the company PT HadicoPersada with businesses engaged in outsourcing, located in Central Jakarta. This study was conducted on 47 respondents. The sampling technique used in this study is saturated samples. Therefore, the analysis of the data used is the statistical analysis in the form of multiple linear regression tests. These results indicate that partially, the variable compensation has a negative and significant impact on the variable turnover intention. Variable organizational culture has a significant negative effect on the variable turnover intention.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah mekanisme tata kelola perusahaan, khususnya ukuran dewan direktur, kepemilikan saham oleh direktur, dan jender, berpengaruh terhadap kinerja keuangan perbankan di Indonesia. Pada penelitian ini, kami menggunakan sampel 16 bank (45 observasi) yang terdaftar di bursa efek Indonesia antara tahun 2011 dan 2014. Metode analisis yang digunakan ialah regresi fixed effects dan random effects. Dikontrol oleh variabel ukuran perusahaan, hutang, dan pertumbuhan perusahaan, hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepemilikan saham direktur berpengaruh signifikan kepada ROA dan Tobin’s Q. Sedangkan jumlah dewan direktur dan keberadaan wanita dalam dewan direktur tidak berpengaruh.

Abstract

This research aims to find out the effect of fundamental factors bank as measured using the CAMEL ratio to changes the amount of deposits and interest rates. CAMEL ratios consists of capital as measured by capital adequacy ratio (CAR), asset quality as measured by non performing loan (NPL), management quality as measured by non-interest expenditures to total assets (NIETA), earnings as measured by return on assets (ROA), liquidity as measured by cash to assets (CTA). Research conducted in Indonesia is also used to find out if there are differences in the behavior of market discipline at the time of a full guarantee, Rp. 100 million guarantee, and Rp 2 billion guarantee. The results showed while guaranteeing full there was no fundamental factors influential to changes in bank deposits and interest rates, while the granting of Rp. 100 million CAR and CTA have significant positive effect to changes deposits and significant negatife to interest rates, and than NIETA has significant negative to changes deposits and significant positive to interest rates, Rp 2 billion guarantee CAR and ROA have positive effect to changes in deposits and significant negative to interest rates. Market discipline occurs at the time of the granting of Rp 2 billion and is increasing at the moment of granting decrase to Rp. 100 million, indicated by number of variables that has a significant effect to changes in deposit and interest rate. whereas when full guarantee market discipline does not occur.

Abstract

This study aims to examine and analyze the effect of market, size, value and sharia factor on the stock return in Indonesia. Research data is monthly data for 5 years observation period from 2009 until 2013. The population in this research is all listed stock in Indonesia Stock Exchange on observation period. The sampling method used was purposive sampling. The method of analysis used multiple regresion. The results showed that market factor, firm size, BE/ME ratio and sharia factor was significantly affect stock return. Market factor was significantly positive affect stock return. Firm size was significantly positive affect stock return on small firm size and negative affect on big firm size. BE/ME ratio was significantly positive affect stock return on high BE/ME ratio and negative affect on low BE/ME ratio. Sharia factor was significantly positive affect sharia stock return and negative affect on non sharia stock return. In general, the market factor is the factor that most strongly affect stock return than any other factor.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to developing a leadership model of Tionghoa Ethnic in West Java, through a survey at Fuqing Association in West Java. The study was using a purposive sampling technique in selecting 4 (four) Fuqing Association in West Java, in Bandung, Bogor, Cianjur and Sukabumi. A purposive sampling also applied in selecting respondents. A Collecting Data Technique was using a questionnaires and interviews. An Exploratory Factor Analysis and Confirmatory Factor Analysis were used to analyzing Tionghoa’s Ethnic leadership model in West Java. Exploratory Factor Analysis was used to examine a research model consists of 8 (eight) leadership dimension. A confirmatory factor analysis with partial least square method was used to re-examine a result models. The results of research is a West Java Tionghoa ethnic leadership models, namely Confucius Sunda Leadership Model. A Confucius Sunda Leadership Model describes a charismatic leader figure which protecting, leads people, assisting and encourage his followers to achieve an organization’s vision and mission together. A Confucius Sunda Leadership Model has its contribution in developing a leadership theory.

Abstract

This study had been referred to the results of research of Selnes (1996), Sumarto et al (2012), about antecendents and consequences of trust and satisfaction in buyer-seller relationships. Primary data and correlational method were incorporated. Commitment of the seller strongly associated with customer satisfaction, the better the commitment of the seller was increasing customer satisfaction. Communication seller strongly associated with satisfaction of the buyer, the better sellers communicate has increased customer satisfaction. Strong problem solving related to customer satisfaction, the better the settlement of the problem by sellers has increased customer satisfaction.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the influence of integrated marketing communication to visitor’s purchasing decisions and their impact on tenant’s decisions for renewing contract in Palembang Square Mall. The research was conducted by distributing questionnaires to 135 visitors of PS Mall and 101 tenant leases at PS Mall. This research is using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with AMOS program to analyze the data. The results indicate that integrated marketing communication of PS  Mall significantly influence the purchasing decision of visitors but has no significant effect on tenant's decision for renewing contract. The results also indicate that visitor's purchase decision also has no significant influence to tenant’s decision for renewing contract in Palembang Square Mall.
